Leroy Turkey

Alfarm, an Alarko Holding establishment started its activities in 1991 for farming, processing and marketing salmon fish. 

In 1997, it was decided to increase the market share of the company towards the identified objectives with high quality and rich variety of seafood. Accordingly, a facility with 3.000 tons of processing capacity per year which has 2.850 m2 of closed area was established in year 2000 in Suadiye town of İzmit city. Alfarm was importing frozen salmon since 1995, but parallel to the increasing demand in Turkey, it started to import fresh salmon from Norway since 2003.

As a result of successful activities of our company regarding recognition and awareness of plenty of seafood, especially salmon and its derivatives in our country, our company established a 50% partnership with Norwegian Hallvard Lerøy in 2005, one of the biggest salmon producers in the world, and got the corporate name ‘Alfarm Alarko-Leroy’.

Through the acquisition of all shares of Alarko Holding in 2015, Leroy continues its activities with its new name Leroy Turkey.

Today, Leroy Turkey is one of the leader companies in the seafood sector in our country with its healthy and quality product varieties put on the market, dealer network throughout Turkey and expert production and sales personnel.
